I seem to remember a fix proposed by Herr Fixit on AOL which was a fan you
built yourself and put on the gs case (somewhere, I don't know). Anyway,
it supposedly worked a lot better than the system saver. Also, try
removing all the slot covers on the back of your GS (where all the cables
on interior cards are supposed to come out of). This will allow for
better circulation and allow an updraft of cooler air. Also, sometimes
certain chips on the accelerator can become "hot spots". The best way to
check this is supposedly with your finger (but be prepared to burn
yourself a little--all for the sake of science). After this, you can buy a
special pen (available at Radio Shack) which can help eliminate these
hotspots. I would say that it could be a power supply problem, but the AE
Vulcan power supply is supposedly very reliable. Ahh well.

Good luck!

p.s. I need an accelerator, so I am willing to make the sacrifice and dare
to use one of yours for free! Simply send me one, and I'll be happy to try
it out to see if it works for say, four or five years? :-)
