Do you mean you have an internal card right now for the 3.5" drive? The
IIgs does not need one. Try pluggin the 3.5" drive in the port that came
with the IIgs. (There should be an icon on the back of the drive that
looks like a disk). If the 5.25" drives are unidisk drives (not Disk II
drives) they can plug into the back of a 3.5" drive. What system software
are you using. In the Finder, open the System folder, and then open the
DRIVERS folder. Make sure you have the Apple3.5 driver installed.
Removing a disk from a 3.5" disk drive with the button is a hardware
operation and has nothing to do with the way the computer works. It is
probably a software problem.
