Nah -- you just need to get a TV with proper specifications that will
clearly display a 80-column stuff. Many Sony professional/industrial
monitors with RGB inputs are capable of doing this (there are similar
monitors from other manufacturers). What you need here is a TV with
circuitry good enough to blurrrr the 80 column stuff and small enough dot
pitch to display them clearly.

If you use HDTV, you can probably do 1240x1024 easily -- which is an
over-kill for IIe.
