[Tip: press return every 70 characters, not 79. Makes it much easier
to insert >s at the start of the line when quoting.]
If you transferred the raw binary image, you will most likely need
to know the size of the records when originally written. Basically,
with a record size of X, record Y starts at an offset of (Y-1)*X into
the file. Records also do not need to take up the entire length that's
allocated for them, so there can be garbage after the record and
before the start of the next.
