Depends on your electronics skills.  If you think you can find the bad part
or parts (I can't help you there) then go for it.  Otherwise, good luck
trying to find a replacement power supply.  I don't know if it used a
power supply with the same dimensions as the Apple II did, but either way,
if you can't find a genuine Laser power supply, you could probably use
an Apple II power supply (which would probably be easier to find) and
make it external.
