Whadda ya mean, wealthy?! I bought an Apple external CD150
(single speed, required caddies) for $29 from Q computers, an
a mail order used Mac equipment joint. I have also seen Apple
CDSC's for $19, but you have to move _fast_ to get one. I
have a CD150 on my IIGS right now, and may get another one
(actually, I think a lot of people buying these single speed
drives are mac people who want to hear music while they
use their machines or run BBSes and whatnot where a CD is
'still far, far faster than an online connection).

I use a Mac at work, so I get MacWeek, there are tons of
places that sell used "Mac" equipment, so get even an old issue
and make a couple of calls. My drive came with a terminator
and a cable!
