A little (!) Dremel work and you could arrange to slide a CF card into a slot (at a place of your choosing) on the Apple... ;-)Oh, the shock! The horror! Someone please slap that man with a 5.25" floppy disk :-) I've seen some of these mods, but I prefer not to cut up the case.
I understand--I've usually avoided it myself. ;-) How about sticking the CF socket under the keyboard? It could be surface-mounted flat against the metal and be very convenient to swap--if you like to swap 128+MB volumes! (Frankly, I find having one set of 4x32MB volumes quite enough, and I remove it only to back it up on a PC [in about a minute!].) -michael NadaNet 3.0 for Apple II parallel computing!
