AppleWorks 2 features (was Regarding Asimov)

No it doesn't.  The IIgs /RAM5 is nothing like an Apple II Memory
Expansion card, at the hardware, firmware or SmartPort interface level. 
The only thing it has in common is that it is a SmartPort-based RAM disk.

AppleWorks 2.0 has specific support for the IIgs, with a separate memory
manager module (SEG.RM, I think), but it didn't do a very good job. 
AppleWorks 2.1 is much more reliable.

AppleWorks 1.3 includes support for the Apple II Memory Expansion Card,
but not for the IIgs.
