IIgs hang problem

I'm trying to set up a IIgs to run Writeaway on a single 3.5 diskette 
machine. All seems ok untill I try to save my document.  The system has 
lots of disk activity and after several seconds, ejects the disk.  
The system then hangs up with the disk red light on showing that its 
attemoting to access the drive.  If I reinsert the diskette the drive 
again is accesses several times and again the diskette is ejected.  This 
will go on indefinely.  Running v5.0 and have everything on one 
diskette.  I have replaced the "start" folder with Writeaway in order to 
save space. I don't think the problem is related to that.  
The file Write never completes. Suggestions anyone?
