AFAIK, SuperConvert doesn't have jpeg support yet. However, I think that
they were planning on adding it at some point.

djpeg is a port of the Independent JPEG Group's JPEG compression/
decompression software that is freely available. In it's present
incarnation, it is quite slow, but it will convert JPEG images into
GIF, PPM, Targa, BMP, and possibly a couple of other types (I can't
remember :). It's a shell utility, so you'll need Orca or GNO. It
should be available on the ftp sites as jpeg.v6.shk. There are a
couple of earlier ports around, but they had problems with the color
conversion routines and would produce bluescale images.

In the archive, there are also programs to convert images to JPEG
(cjpeg - a couple of minor bugs in it), translate between JPEG types
(jpegtran), and read/write comments in JPEG images (rdjpgcom & wrjpgcom).
