Lynx blocks overquoted posts

The message I sent regarding Apple II SCSI scanner information was
blocked by Lynx because it decided I had included more quoted text in my
post than new text! Now that takes the cake! So I had to
reformat the message, zapping the > and replacing it with | so
the quoted text from the thread was preceded by > and the
Deja News text was preceded by |. Lynx still blocked the
message and was going to trash it. However I succumbed to
technology and just used -----start and -----end to trick
it. That worked. Understandably, this
is a useful feature, however in my instance it was perfectly acceptable
because the content I was quoting was no longer available in csa2 and in
fact wasn't in the existing thread. Is there a way I can shut off that
annoying feature before I start my trn session? Thanks.
