The Ramfast utilities do, don't they? I think I did a reformat with a 1:1
interleave instead of the existing 1:2 and 1:10 (!! - on partition #2), and it
speeded up a GS/OS boot with DAs and Inits with appr. 6-7 seconds. Never knew
it would differ that much! And now GS/OS with shift start boots in just 12
seconds with an 8-year-old 60 MB Sead Harddisk.
