Vulcan Drive Problem

   This message is being posted for Ronald Fecher. He has hard drive
trouble, and wonders if anyone would be kind enough to snail-mail him an
answer. Please don't post --- He has no access to the newsgroup at this
time. 


   Self-booting Vulcan on a IIGS. Brought up Part. Manager & shut off
self-boot. Lost partition AE1 with Vulcan pre-loaded software. AE2 o.k.
with software on it.

   Got Vulcan 1.4.7 on a floppy, but no luck. Tested functions.

   1. Ran Park.Head ------- "could not find Vulcan in any slot"

   2. Ran Part. Manager ------"no vulcan found in any slot"

   3.Ran AE Vulcan Desk Acc. ----- hung up IIGS with following message: 

            00/0003:00 F8          BRK F8
            A=0822 X=00FF Y=0001 S=0130 D=0000 P=7C
            B=AC K=00 M=0C Q=9E L=1 m=1 x=1 e=1

   4. Of the 40 MB Vulcan, only 8.54 MB are still avail.
