The color palette is off a bit, but this is to be expected. I'm
surprised that the monitor syncs with this card. Perhaps the the card
is outputting positive syncs on the DB-9 and Apple style negative
syncs on the DB-19. I'd hook up my scope, but I don't care enough to
drag it out :-)
The card will drive both monitors simultaneously. What is interesting
is that unlike the Apple's native composite output, neither the CGA or
the GS monitor shows any color in double highres mode.
I don't really need yet another large monitor, so I'll return the
loaner CGA. I was just curious to see if it would work. I'll make up a
new cable for the GS and use it, even if the colors aren't a perfect
match. The 80 column text is much more readable, which is incentive
enough to use this RGB card.
