I bought my Apple IIe Feb 2, 1984. It did not have the ][+ style case
and did have the black lettering. I assume it was a Rev B motherboard as
it could do double-hires, but I did end up enhancing it later on.
At least I remember having the black lettered keys. I know I didn't
really care for the look of the white lettered keys.
