Even if there were, would it be usefull? I have my hard drives, all three
of them, in a mini-tower, and have connected the individual drive activity
lights up to the assorted leds on the front panel. Connecting a light to
the interface board would not allow me to tell which drive is being
accessed. Not that I normally need to, but...

I'ld love to find one, but one that will also do 1.4M would be better and
probably is available.

I haven't put my mother board in the case yet. But, why not use several
short spacers to hold the board off the metal case? Most heat will be on
the component side, but having natural air flow below will be helpfull.
