Thanks for the update. I didn't realize that the ZipChip was totally out 
of production. FWIW, Alltech advertised the 8mhz ZipChip for $139 in its 
ad in the most recent "II Alive". They must have at least a small stock of 
them.

For that kind of money, I personally would get a TransWarp instead. The 
used market price for an 8-bit TransWarp is about $50.
