This disk is self-booting from a standard IIgs (01 OR 03 ROM) with an 800k -
3.5 drive.  Total load time for the JUKEBOX and its music is about 51 seconds.

The JukeBox basic program has been improved and enhanced even more than the
last release. I've redesigned the sound and cache commands for the Jukebox
program. It includes an all-new refined sound design with; Virtual 4D Digital
Audio soundscape expansion, real-time linear loop progression, PHASED-DOOPLER,
VARIANT WAVEFORM, MULTI-GLOBAL REVERB, DAT and CONTRIPETAL CONVOLUTION coding.
The JukeBox program, allow you to press any key to proceed to the next music
module, the same as all the other versions.

(SPECIAL NOTE: It may be neccessary to press a key to proceed to the second 4D
music selection, when the first music selection has ended.  After that, the
proceeding music, should play automatically, one after the other.)

Additional 4D sound design and dimensional enhancements have been added to the
JukeBox program. These enhanced effects aren't found on the versions of any
past VAMPS or NTV JukeBox basic programs.  I still use an ample supply of
ninth chords, with cross rhythms and deceptive cadence.  These are added sound
design features, that I plan to include on all future releases to give added
dimensional effects.

You are welcome to make whatever modifications you wish to the JukeBox
program, to suit your own PERSONAL audio needs. I have many ideas for
development and improvements with the JukeBox program variations and would be
glad to discuss them with anybody that cares to call, leave EMAIL or write.

The (VORTEX) Virtual Audio ' DIGITAL AUDIO TRANSMUTATION & CONTRIPETAL
CONVOLUTION ' still in the research, development and evaluation stages, is
included with the 4D process and presented for your listening perceptual

the IIgs and will give you a fantastic, clear, full range stereo sound
ability, such as you've never before experienced on your IIgs. The

wonderful STATE-OF-THE-ART program that has many advanced features, never
found with any other sound editing software for the IIgs.  YOU DON'T NEED THE

NTV XFACTOR.4D, presents an (all-new) digital enhancement concept and program
design, in Virtual Reality Audio, 4D sound design, music presentation and
dimensional listening perception combined with; D.A.T. ( Digital Audio
Transmutation) with CC (Contripetal Convolution), as you've never before
experienced.

Over 2 years of diligent research has gone into this (all-new) combination of
the music, digital sound designs and the improvement efforts for its
presentation system.  Weeks of labor with countless trials and errors, have
gone into the redesigned JukeBox basic program, the music, samples and
digitalsound designs on this disk.

release.  But, again I'd like to point out that only the esoterically trained
audiophile, can comprehend the scope of what enhancements are found on this
NTV XFACTOR.4D disk, with regard to the music and Virtual Reality (digital 4D)
Audio sound design effects.  I'm sure you'll notice the pronounced 4D CUPOLA
and ARCING of the geoacoustic soundscapes, like you've never experienced them
before.

I applied a brand new multi-step remastering process, using a HOLOPHONE
Simulator and a DAT recorder to record the music and samples from the IIgs,
with extensive external studio 4D processing enhancements, then ported them
back into the IIgs, via the SoundMeister card and did even more sound/sample
design enhancements with the DigitalSessions Sound Editor, then loaded the
original music score via some (OSRL) proprietary music software, then ported
the final mastered scores to Noise Tracker GS v1.20, replaced each
sample/sound with the new processed ones, made additional dimension
enhancements with the music scores, then saved them to disk, for use with this
NTV XFACTOR.4D disk release, as standard NTV music modules. This new
multi-step remastering process, should dazzle even the most jaded audiophiles
dimensional perception.

I want to express my sincere thanks to Jeff Gold, for his technical advise,
hardware contributions and assistance with his VA-Dimensional Sonic Imaging
System : The Barnaby 2000 and his special psychoacoustic digital processor.

Those of you versed in the higher levels of sound, its effect on emotions and
the brain, using binaural beat frequencies, paired hetrodyning and whole brain
syncronization, combined with the overtures, harmonics and inductive uplifts
of such universal cosmic sounds as; HU, OM and AVM, will surely find some
special etherial elements of sound delight and enlightenment in the music on
this disk also.

I've done my very best to expand, improve and refine the dimensional demeanor
and sound scape effects that were presented on past NTV disks even more for
your listening pleasure, on this NTV xFACTOR.4D release, with the remastering
and improvements to; the music modules, the samples/sounds and the basic
program.

I've applied and intergrated every aspect of my accumulated knowledge of sound
design enlightenment proceedures, along with the new 4D processing, some
experimental ordinate coding, imbricated into the music modules and the
program that plays them, on this disk.

The combination of the effects you will experience in; Virtual (4D Digital)
Audio psychoacoustics, physioacoustics and geometricacoustics, joined together
with the new D.A.T., CC coding process, special reverb effects and the
plentiful, prominent and pronounced effects of the sample sounds designed with
the input of; HU, OM and AVM layered within the samples and governed by the
new designed JukeBox program, should certainly give the listener a totally
cosmic, mental sense of well being and emotional uplifted 4D audio joy.

This disk may even give many of you a few vivid goose bumps, rushes and audio
chills and thrills.  It might even make you thrash your head and sholders
around a bit and tap your hands and feet, after a few replays of the entire
JukeBox.  I certainly hope it does.  Thats what I have intended !

You may notice within some of the music modules, clicks, pops, hisses and what
even sound like cheap old records that skip.  I assure you they are there for
a very valid reason and function.  They were mastered into the final samples,
to allow the listener to experience depth extension, sound localization point
enhancements, demensional, seperational and entrainment effects.

NTV XFACTOR.4D will push your (DOC) Ensoniq chip to new virtual (4D Digital)
audio limits of operation and should give you an enhanced stereo listening
experience like you've never encountered before, on your IIgs !  As I've said
before and I'll say again, repetition deserves improvement and I've done my
best to add it, with this new enhanced ( WORLD PREMIERE - 4D NTV MUSIC)
release.

I really doubt that you'll find any music, any better or more dimensional to
listen to on your IIgs, than the music presented on this disk.

Any rogue programming wizards out there in ' IIGS LAND ', that care to take
the challenge and design the JukeBox program to include animation and/or
graphics inclusions of any type, please go for it and don't forget to send me
your improvements to include in the next release.  I'm still waiting !

Some of you've been getting copies of NTV disks that take up to five minutes
to load.  In some cases you've even reported that they don't load or play at
all.  Such disks have been modified from the way I uploaded and originally
released them with the FREEOS system on them.  If you receive such an NTV disk
that doesn't have FREEOS on the disk with the special boot and boot pictures
displayed when the disk first starts up, please send me a blank (3.5) disk
with a stamped return envelope and I'll send you the official version that I
originally released.  I want you to experience the music as I've originally
designed and released it.

I COMPOSED THE JUKEBOX PICTURE AND OTHER GRAPHICS ON THIS DISK, USING A
COMBINATION OF THE FOLLOWING GRAPHICS PROGRAMS; FONTRIX GS, LEONARDO GS 256,
THE ADOBE PHOTO SHOP ON THE MAC II, PRISM GS AND RON MERCERS 3200 GRAPHIC
CONTRIBUTIONS.

The Jukebox program loads all music into memory; (Direct Memory Access),
incorporating; both code cache and data cache, with dual ram processing and
branch prediction coding, increasing system efficiency and sound perception
dramatically, then it plays the first song, progressing on to the next and so
on, to the last song.  If left alone it will start up again with the first
song. If you wish to progress to the next song (at any point) you can press
any key.

You can only listen to these special D.A.T.- CC Virtual (4D Digital) Audio
effects from these Noise Tracker GS music modules, with the NTV JukeBox basic
programs.

You can't load or listen to them via any other program or system, and hear
them with the intensity, clarity and the special (4D Digital) audio effects.
Again, I want to make it clear to the users of the NTV and VAMPS disks, they
are designed for use with this disk and its designed operation system only !

You can load these modules via NoiseTracker GS v1.20 and hear the QUAILTY
VARIATIONS for yourself.

You can't load them via any of the GS/OS systems and expect to play them
without an eventual system failure or crash of your IIgs, which would result
in your having to turn off your computer, turn it back on and reboot..  You
can copy them to an 800k RAM drive and expect them to load and play as I have
intended for them to play.  But, not to your hard drive because they won't !

The boot system is a special design, public domain combination of FREEOS and
FASTBOOT, designed to allow for the fastest loading, with a built-in FREE-OS
8k (Disk Cache).

You can press control and reset to exit the JukeBox program, then type bye to
exit to FREEOS. Then you can press the tab key and select the
application/system file you wish to enter via any other on-line device.  You
can launch other P8 or P16 disk programs.

Any GS/OS (including v6.0.1), requires a reboot !

The skew for this disk is the standard 2 : 1, so that the information for the
D.A.T.,CC and PGSD coding in these special designed NTV music modules will
load from the disk to RAM and play more accurately.

As always, square waves are used in the sounds, as much as possible.  Because,
I learned long ago, that a square wave form will carry information to
biological media more accurately than any other wave form.  An interrupt pulse
of 90 per minute is also used in many NTV music modules, to instill an added
sense of well being for the listener.
