I'm not sure, here is my system:
slot 1 : quickie
slot 2 : apple hs scsi interface
slot 3 : zipGS 8/32
slot 4 : sonic blaster
slot 5 : pc transporter + 2 disk drives
slot 6 : apple hd disk controller + 2 hd disk drives
slot 7 : ComputerEyes GS
mem slot: CV tech 4MB board + apple 1mb board
I have alse 3 apple disk drive attached to the standard disk port
I have the original power supply with just 2 cooling fan and is work fine.
I'm not sure that a cpu speed up encrease a lot the power demand but it is
true that it is more sensible with noisy alimentation lines.
I'm quite interested about your problem because I want to speed up my Zipgs
beyond 15 Mhz
