Actually, what it doesn't support is the programs that we currently
have for viewing 3200 colour images.
If you have the 24 bit version of the card, it is capable of
displaying images with 16.7 million colours so I don't think an image
with 3200 colours would be a problem for it.
What is needed at present is for someone to write a program that will
set the Second Sight into, say, a 32,768 colour mode and set the first
3200 palette entries to the same values as the 200 palettes of 16
colours from the 3200 colour image and just keep adding 16 to the
pixel data for each scan line.
BTW, this is all theory on my part as I don't own a Second Sight card.
At least, not yet. :)
