Cursed Message Deletion Needed

For reasons I won't go into here I used the 6.0.1 Install
program to install the LaserWriter driver. After I decided that
it didn't do what I wanted I tried to use the 6.0.1 Install
program to remove the printer. Unfortunately, something didn't
get removed and I'm presented with the following message each
time I boot:

"The selected AppleTalk connection
could not be found. Be sure it is
installed and the slot settings in the
Control Panel are correct."

If I hit Return the boot process continues, however, I want this
message deleted.

I don't see anything in the slot settings that is abnormal.

I've subsequently used the Install program's Easy Update to
reinstall 6.0.1 and yet this cursed message pursues me. What do
I need to do to put it into the bit bucket?

Kind Regards,
