Let me add that ProTERM is unquestionably the finest text-based telecom 
program ever written.  Once you learn how to use it, you'll think you died 
and gone to heaven.

It requires 128K, but works even better with 256K or more. Above 256K, it 
just makes the scrollback buffer bigger and bigger (IMHO a Good Thing!)

If you run across a used copy, be aware that 2.2 has a mildly flaky Zmodem 
and at most about half the features of 3.x.  3.1 is definitely the best 
option.
