What sort of Hardware should I get?

I recently aquired a ROM 3 GS in near perfect condition.  The only problem was
that it had absolutely NO hardware in or on it that did not come with the
original purchase: the main unit, a monitor, a 3 1/2 inch drive, and a 5 1/4
inch drive.  I would like to get a RAM upgrade, an accelerator, a SCSI card, a
Hard Drive, and a sound card (preferably MIDI-compatible). However, being new
to the wonderful world of the Apple ][, I am having a lot of trouble
determining which brand of equipment to buy (RamFast, Apple, Sirius, Roland,
ZipChip, etc.) In addition, I was wondering where I ought to purchase these
things.  Cost is not the deciding factor here, quality and service (warranty,
tech support, documentation) is.  Thanks for any help you can give me, and 
long live the Apple ][!
