Interesting you should mention that...
Years ago, I illicitly copied quite a few programs. Shortly after making
my copies, I determined that I never used those programs, and fairly soon,
the disks were filled with other stuff.

There were a few exceptions to that general rule, which is why I bought
the Einstein Compiler and Fontrix. In other words, someone made me a
copy, I liked it, I bought it. Or, someone made me a copy, I didn't like
it, I erased it.

Unfortunately, by the time I discovered Apple Writer ][e, it was
impossible to buy it. I know. I tried. And tried. And tried. I could
buy all the copies of AppleWorks I wanted, but Apple Writer was *gone*.
And I had never heard of "Internet". So I used a pirated copy for years,
while my legal copy of PFS:Write languished in a drawer. I was forced to
maintain an illegal copy of AppleWriter, because a legal copy was, for me,
unobtainable.

You can't believe how happy I was to find out that AppleWriter is now
legally downloadable!
