I'd be interested in buying a copy of the Mark Twain presentation. Be
nice to go but not available now.
Here's some food for thought. I like the idea of having a hard drive and
3.5 drive internal drive. The 3.5 drive internally shouldn't be hard to
do with using an external power supply, should it? The one thing I think
might be a challenge would be cutting the slot in the case for the 3.5
disk to be inserted. I'm talking about getting it lined up properly and
doing it without it looking tacky. And the other thing is that metal
shield. In fact thinking about it and having tinkered with ibm's and
other computers inside you'd think someone would come up with a simple
way of doing this. It could be done in such a way that you could even put
a zip drive internally or an internal tape backup.
Another thing that would be nice is if somehow through a new chip or two
or by drivers/or both we could (GS' and maybe //e's) use the larger hard
drives without being limited to 12 partitions only 32 megs each. Be nice
to sit down to the GS turn it on and WALLA! 1 gig all available at once!
:)
Look forward to seeing the sale of the Mark Twain presentation. Have fun
those of you that go!
GS' and //e's FOREVER!
Mike :)
