Re: IIGS and IBM laptops...any hints?



A Printer can be shared, like the deskjet, as can Hayes compatible serial
external modems. If you get a 1.4 meg 3.5" superdrive, text files can be
swapped using GS/OS 6.0.1, if your 386 also has a 1.4 meg drive.
If you have a PC Transporter in your II, you can run 8086 programs and use
disk drives with less capacity. You could also swap files that way.

You may also swap information through the modem ports, images and text. The
PCT may be enough... then you could pick up a really cheap (less than 386)
laptop. I've seen 286 laptops in the $100-$200 range for sale used.
