A suggestion with ProDOS and Mac.

Always WRITE to HFS disks and move it to the IIgs with HFS. Use the
IIgs to put whatever it is to the ProDOS volume.

The Mac ProDOS File System extension has this nasty habit of writing a
resource fork on EVERY file. Resource forks are not needed on ProDOS
8, and could cause great grief.

Use ProDOS or HFS to go inbound to the Mac.

File sharing and ProDOS can not happen on the same Mac.  So if you
have AppleShare/PFS on, you can't read/write ProDOS volumes from that
Mac.
