RE:IIe to ibm file transfer. Help! :)



I transfer files betweem IBM and Apple II disks all the time.  With data 
files, there's no problem.  If it's program files, they can be transferred, 
but they probably won't work without a lot of changes.
 
I have both Apple IIgs and Macs.  If it's Apple II to IBM transfer, I do 
this:
Use the IIgs to transfer Apple II files (5.25 or 3.5) over my AppleTalk 
network to my Mac.  Use the Mac to then transfer to MS-DOS 3.5" disks.
 
AppleWorks files can be transferred, with formatting intact, through MacLink 
Plus translators, or some Mac programs, such as ClarisWorks.
 
I've even done translation of Apple II CPM WordStar files to Mac and IBM 
formats.
