The Apple II is a computer that's on its own. I guess "doomed" is a relative term. We've looked long and hard at the latest Macs and PCs and while they are neat, exciting, and entertaining, there's nothing they do we can't do already that justifies their cost and short life span. Meanwhile our IIs have LONG been paid for, their upkeep has been cheap, and they continue to chug along. -John
