Interex MAC-105A keyboard
I'm just writing from my new keyboard to let you know it works on a IIGS.
There is a keyboard compatibility list on ground, and this keyboard is listed
as existing, but compatibility with the GS unknown. The alphanumeric
keys work fine, my mouse works with it, reset-OA-ctrl does its job, the
caps lock light works on its own. Num and Scroll lights don't do much,
but rather than use them for keyboard related purposes, I might use them
as general purpose LEDs to monitor what's going on in the GS (monitor
GS/OS device access, or for debugging, or have them blink back and forth,
heheh). Also this keyboard has a special key sequence which will cause
the numeric keypad to emulate the arrow keys as it might on an IBM. What
stuck me most what that (in 1996 no less) the box clearly states:
Apple/Macintosh (ADB) compatible, and that it works with any Apple ADB
computer. The only thing I don't like is that it isn't as solid as a
genuine Apple product...it's more like 80% of IBM type keyboards. It
sells for $60.
