Re: AE's Ramkeeper and GS Battery Life



Your not the only one. I have had a IIGS since 87 and my battery has yet 
to go. I got ramkeeper just when it came out. I even bought a new battery 
a few years ago just waiting for mine to die. 

It has yet to die. Technically it should last for 10 years though. The 
Ramkeeper card only powers up the Dram on the card, keeping it refreshed. 
I don't see how it could power the motherboard and then use the processor to 
refresh the memory like it does when it is powered up. You never know.
