Appleworks.GS problems

        I am having enormous and strnage problems with Appleworks GS.  When
I first boot up my IIGS (Rom 03, 5 megs RAM, 160 meg Q Drive, plus lots of
bells and whistles) it works just fine and works fine for about an hour or
so and then I get a message that "a serious system error has occured" and I
must reboot.  Now I have been using AWGS for about 6 years (yes it is
version 1.1) and have had few problems with it.  I have tried shift booting
to see if it is a conflict but cannot see anything.  I have reinstalled
both from my own disk and from a copy that a friend emailed me.  Same thing
happens.  Any suggestions?  I am having no other problems with any other
program GSOS or Prodos 8.
