Question about Infocom Interpreter Versions

In reading the specs for the Z-Machine, I notice that the following
12 codes are used to denote various interpreter flavors:

	1 | DECSystem-20 (Infocom's own mainframe)
	2 | Apple ][e
	3 | Macintosh
	4 | Amiga
	5 | Atari ST
	6 | IBM PC
	7 | Commodore 128
	8 | Commodore 64
	9 | Apple ][c
	10 | Apple ][gs
	11 | Tandy Color

This leaves me with a few questions, though which I'm hoping someone can
clarify.

1) How did they designate the "other" platforms which they supported?
   (e.g., CP/M, PDP-11, TRS-80 Model 1/3)

2) Can I assume that the differences on the various CP/M flavors was
mostly one of disk format? Did they also tune the interpreter to
the platform? (i.e., Did the Osborne-1 version only use 52 columns?)

3) What *is* the difference between the Apple //e and //c versions?

Thanks in advance... <<<John>>>

P.S. If the O-1 version really only was 52 columns, does anybody have
a spare interpreter they could send my way? (I have all the games courtesy
of LTOI 1 and 2, just would like to find an interpreter.) Thanks.
