Or, if you are running System 6.x on the IIgs, format one of your disks
as HFS at 800K and transfer the files to that disk. This is the Mac's
file system,and it should be able to read it without any trouble.
Watch out that you use a DD disk, as opposed to a HD disk. The Mac will
try to read a HD disk as 1.44M instead of 800K, so it will ask you if you
want
to format it. Also, as you might know, depending on the file type, the Mac
may or may not see it as a text file.
