There are still a handful of Apple II publications, yet none can
be found in magazine format now. All national newsstand magazines for
the Apple II (Nibble, Apple IIGS Buyer's Guide, InCider/A+, etc) ceased
publication several years ago. As of recent, even the remaining few
subscription-only magazines folded as well, such as GS+ and II-Alive
(the latter is still being published, but will cease in another 3 issues;
the option for renewals or new subscriptions haven't been available for
almost a year due to this).

Publications remaining are simple (in appearence, not content)
newsletters, as follows below:

- Shareware Solutions II

A bi-monthly 20 page newsletter written and published by
Joe Kohn, with Dr. Cynthia Field and Steven Disbrow as contributing
editors (all are former Apple II magazine writers, Joe and Cynthia
from InCider/A+, with Steve from GS+ Magazine). This is a general
Apple II publication covering all aspects, news, events and stories
in Apple II world (and more!).

- Juice.GS

A recent addition, with the premier issue mailing about now.
This is published by Max Jones, a long-time editor and writer for the
Tribune-Star, a daily US newspaper. It is also 20 pages, but printed
quarterly (four times a year). This publication focuses specifically
on the Apple IIgs, and contains graphic image and layout style that
has a very newspaper-like quality it.

- Apple Blossom

Another recent addition, simular to the above, although it
covers all Apple II computers. It is printed quarterly from Steve
Cavanaugh (I believe it was once a freeware publication which has
grown enough to go commercial).

- SoftDisk G-S *

 	* NOT a newsletter, but an electronic on-disk publication
that is for the Apple IIgs only (most are probably famillar with
SoftDisk Publishing, as they produce a disk publication for a
number of computers brands). It is mostly a collection of non-
shareware/freeware software, though I believe contains some tidbits
of news events and letters on disk, along with clipart, graphics,
music, etc.

..Those are basically it, the two _major_ commercial publications
are obviously 'Shareware Solutions II' and 'SoftDisk G-S' (keeping
in mind the other two newsletters are too recent to comment on).
Note that I've excluded newsletters that only focus on a software
product (ie, AppleWorks, HyperStudio) or freeware publications.
