I've been trying to *reduce* the number of mailing lists that end up in my
in-box :-). For most things I want a "pull" mechanism (like USENET, or RSS)
not a "push" mechanism (like e-mail).
P.S. I found [probably old news to most people] that Google Groups supports
RSS feeds and added the CSA2announce link it to my aggregator ... it remains
to be seen how well it works. For those who are interested, this URL:
http://groups.google.com/group/csa2announce/feeds has a list of feeds.
[N.B. The only ones that I could get my aggregator (RNews [see
http://rnews.sourceforge.net]) to subscribe to were the RSS2.0 feeds] I'd
still need to subscribe to Google Groups if I wanted to post, but at least
this way I can see the announcements that are posted without cluttering my
in-box.
