That is probably supposed to read "0B030000".

It means that the test on the 1/4 second interrupt failed. (This
interrupt is only used by the AppleTalk firmware.)

The most likely reason for this failure code is that you have a ZIP GS
installed in your computer, and you didn't disable it before running
the self-test. It is clearly stated in the original ZIP manual that
the IIgs will usually fail this test if the ZIP is installed and
enabled (if you manage to get past the 0B tests, the 0C ones will
probably fail as well). It is also possible for the 05 tests to fail,
unless you have set one of the DIP switches to avoid this.

None of these failures indicate any problem with the IIgs. The
failure is being reported because the self-test code is doing an
instruction loop to see how much time passes between the appropriate
interrupt. With a ZIP installed, this loop is accelerated, so the
routine thinks the interrupt is occurring at the wrong rate.

Turn the IIgs off, disable the ZIP (set SW1-6 OFF), turn the IIgs on
again, then try the self-test again. It will probably pass.

The ZIP itself is the most likely cause for any random crashing
problems you are having. Try removing it and see if the problem goes
away.

None of the above applies to the TransWarp GS - it slows down to
normal execution speed during all operations associated with the
self-tests, so they will all pass.

If you don't have a ZIP, then you may indeed have a problem. Try
removing ALL cards from the computer and running the test again.
