Suuuure. The only computers being sold today without hard drives
are personal ogranizers (Newton, Psion, etc) and game console systems
([Super] Nintendo, Genesis, Playstation, Saturn, etc). Trying to sell
a desktop system where the users have to keep flipping disks would be
a marketing disaster as bad as New Coke and other garbage.

Remember this business: "The customer is king." You may have nothing
better to do all day than flip disks, but that's not what people with
lives will do.
