Woz signed the case of each IIgs in the first batch released for
sale. On the front, lower right side, is printed "LIMITED EDITION". The
"Woz" signiture is just above.
All of the first IIgs's were ROM-00. Most users had the free ROM-01
upgrade done and, so, now have ROM-01 machines. Naturally, they kept their
"Woz" signature cases!
I do not recall how many signed, Limited Edition GS's were released.
There may still be many non-upgraded ROM-00 machines around which were not
part of the early "Woz" batch.
