ProTERM is a commercial software title that must be purchased,
unless you want the disabled demo-version available on some FTP sites.
The rest mentioned above are freeware (with the possible expection of
Apple system software, which technically can only be obtained through
licensed usergroups or from Apple's own FTP site).

>Apple // usergroup in Montreal???

Definitely not. Like much else in Montreal, Apple II usergroups
have disappeared partly due to users moving away (not many people want
to live where English signs and schooling are forbidden by _law_ with a
"language police" task force, or where hundreds of buildings and shops
lie empty in probably the worst ecomonic climate in all of North America
due to the constant threat of a break away from Canada). There is one
remaining local Apple II BBS in the area however, though I'd highly suggest
using comp.sys.apple2 (Internet) or a service like Genie for support.

I do know of one person who offers to mail out many of the
modem-starter utilities you've requested; I don't recall who it is,
but he frequents this group and only asks for the cost of the disk
and shipping (or contact me, I'll be here for at least a short while
longer and always happy to help out :)
