Correct. My ROM 3 has no hint of any IIe keyboard or power supply
connectors.

The actual circuit board is identical. The only difference is that
the IIe connectors were not inserted before flow-soldering the board,
so all the holes are filled with solder.
Note that hand soldering the IIgs motherboard is not a good idea. It
is a four-layer board, and you can easily damage it if you are not
careful.
