Are you viewing GIFs greater than 60k on that thing?  I got that error
all the time with 1.25 megs, and even got it today with 4 megs on a file
which it has never complained about before.  And no, I don't have my RAM
filled with crap like some people -- 3165k free according to "About...".

Something afoot here.
