Have you tried their early demos, such as Photonix and that one with the DNA
like thingies (Nucleus, I think it was)?

I don't think those were able to run on a ROM 3.  All of the above were written
after the ROM 3 came out (In fact I remember the line in Modulae that thanked
for ROM 3 support, Grass Hills Software or something, and AAlbers(?) for 
Soundsmith)
