No matter, Jim.  There are more than one of us Canadians using AppleWorks.
Getting stuck with an Americanized dictionary is one of the unfortunate side 
effects of the product coming from south of the border.  You get the 
standard unchangeable American dictionary, then you can add any word you 
want to alternate dictionaries.  Nathan has a good point, though, about 
compression.  I would like to Canadianize my AppleWorks dictionary, too, but 
the only thing I've been able to do is supplement the American "-or" words 
with our Canadian counterparts, "-our".  To each his own.
