What version ROMs does the CMS SCSI card have?  Anything prior to 1990 
versions may have problems with System 6.01.  If you have/had to fiddle 
around with the jumpers to set your partitions, their probably too old.

This is also probable, though it could also be a SCSI cable problem.  I 
had many problems with my CMS card and CMS 64 meg drive.  I got a 
RamFast, but still had problems.  When I dumped the cable that came with 
the CMS, things worked much better.  Order one from APS, they're good 
quality ones.
