missing P8 file, Apple IIGS

	I hope this is the appropriate group.
I've drug out my old (but great) Apple IIGS and am attempting to use Crossworks to transfer files from the 
Apple to my PC. I did it successfully last summer and then accidentally lost the files in the CW directory.
It is not working today, and the reason is, I have lost the "P8" file in the system directory on my Apple. I 
know it was there before the hard drive crash and replacement of last fall. When we queried the people at 
the local Apple dealers they seemed to not know what we were talking about, and the desktop looks and acts 
completely different from the original. How/where do I find the P8 file? Please help as these files are huge 
genealogical databases, and really important to me
