Check out the graphical control panel. There is an option there for
"Auto Daylight Savings". I bet yours is checked. There is another neat
feature in the graphical time control panel. If you press one of the
modifier keys (Option, I think) the display switches from "days left in
the year" to "days until Christmas". I guess you could call that a
Christmas egg.:)
BTW, on a related note, does anybody know how to figure out when the
spring time change happens? If the computer can figure it out, there
must be some kind of algorithm. I know how to figure out when Easter is
(first sunday after the first full moon after the solstice), but how do I
predict the time change (either spring or fall)?
