I was talking about CD-R (recorable) drives I haven't seen one that isn't
scsi yet, but they could be out there. I subscribe to a lot of PC
magazines and it seems a lot of people are finding out scsi is better,
wich should bring down prices. I plan on useing linux on my 486 and the
best way to go is scsi.
I don't feel like putting up with all the master slave stuff you have to
use with ide. I recently got a cd-rom drive for my GS. I had it set up
and running in 15 minutes. A girl I work with just got a ide cd-rom drive
for her PC this week-end for her birthday, they still don't have it working.
Maybe someone would come out with a ide card for ya.
