Zip Drive and the IIGS

Hello gang!

I know that the Iomega Zip Drive works with the IIGS. My question is:
Can this drive be made bootable? I am considering the purchase of
a Zip Drive for my 'backup' IIGS, which resides at my parents' place.
Right now it has an Apple II High Speed SCSI card attached to it, but
I'm running stuff off of floppies (yuck!). If the Zip Drive can be made
as a primary hard drive, this would be great! Also, would this drive
be daisy chainable with the external 80 MEG Seagate drive I've got on my
'Ultra' souped-up IIGS? I've got a Centronics/Centronics (50 pin, I
believe) cable that I could use for this purpose, if need be...

I'm interested in hearing from other Apple IIGS users that are running
Zip Drives...any advice is greatly appreciated!

Thanks!
