You assumed wrong! It is a multitasking operating system written for
a 6502 system specially designed by a man in Germany.
It will NOT run on an Apple II (in its current form), but it is likely
assumed that some Apple II enthusiasts have an interest in 6502 systems.
And yes, it does exist...

I am currently evaluating its usefulness for my self-designed 6502
system. An Apple II would probably run it in some form, but you're
talking about re-writing alot of the device drivers, tayloring it to
the architecture of an Apple II. That is a wonderful idea; the
operating system appears highly capable, and can be assembled in
two general forms -- one form with a MMU (memory-management unit)
which allows up to 1 Megabyte of paged memory access, and one form
using normal memory.
It shouldn't be too hard to use existing Apple II ROM bootstrap code
to bring it in from an Apple II diskette -- but then again, it comes
with drivers for IBM-type diskettes too!
